WW1 - In the Trenches

Description

   I don't know why, but WW1 is very interesting to me. I like drawing the soldiers as, too, but I don't know why. 
Here's a soldier in the trenches, covered in mud and dirt, sick, tired, miserable. (Conditions in the trenches were awful.)
And here's a short poem by ~Brothermonk

Fire and steel, 
Destruction so real,
Into the trenches we hide.
Behind the wire,
To dodge the fire,
Welcome to no-mans-land.
