So this weekend I got to be behind a table at a con for the first time! I had a great display for my steampunk bookmarks, and post pictures of the display, the bookmarks, and the stuff I bought soon. I sold about 10 bookmarks, $2.50 each (then dropped to $2 in the last hour). Saw LOTS of great cosplayers, including two guys dressed as 9 and 5! As for stuff, I bought an awesome repainted Nerf gun, two awesome metal dice, a Naruto tin (with 4 packs of cards), and still managed to have some cash left! But, wow, am I tired...
Then on the second day, we had to leave the con early because my aunt was getting married. First wedding I've been to. It was alright, didn't last too long. It was hot inside the church, though. And supposedly I looked very nice.
And last wednesday, I auditioned for the school play, 60's Mania
. It's crazy. The daughter wins a date with Ringo Starr, five crazy fans are trying to track him down, the other daughter is going to run away with her hippy boyfriend, the father's boss invites himself over for dinner, and the father and aunt trade hilarious insults through the entire play! And I get to be one of the fangirls!
